I was looking at my FLHTP today and realized when I put a detachable passenger backrest on I will have to install a new part to hold my license plate. Currently the tag bracket is attached to the tour pack bracket, so when that goes off so will my tag. Just curious of my options out there, I was looking in the catalog the dealer gave me and they have a few tag brackets in there that I think would work but not sure. I'm going to try and put picture of my bike so you all can see what I'm going to have to deal with. Any other company's out there with a good aftermarket bracket?
Idk about different part numbers , with the setup you have though you should be able to use any plate the sg or rg use. The curved plates mount under the signals. I don't know how you would illuminate the tag though.
This may help

I doubt your rear signal bar has the threaded holes to mount the Street Glide tag bracket. You may need to buy an 09 or older Street Glide rear signal bar.You should be able to find a used one cheap.
