That plug is for heated grips. I did away with that as well as the green connector.

Yup, those are for heated grips. I also did away with them too. Saves alot of room where the bars neck down to the grip.

Ok gonna have a few cocktails. Maybe tomorrow I'll get the ambition to break everything down again and delete the green plug. I swear they do this on purpose to make people miserable! Weather is in low 30's here so no rush to get out there anyhow.

I feel for ya, its a PITA getting it apart when the green plug disconnects...
I'm still riding, 22* this am lol

When did everything go to ****? After installing bars or after installing grips or did you do the whole shooting match in one shot?

It sounds stupid, but I had the same issue...because I forgot to plug in the tbw connector under the fairing. Sometimes it's a simple oversight...

OP posted in another thread that he found that the green wire had come apart and got it sorted out.

That's why I did the CVO harness for $100. No more green plug. Glad he got it figured out, tho. Gonna do different bars this winter, I want to go back to 1.5" bars. Those Malo's look nice!
