I know deep down that it is... Just don't want to go through that again lol. While I have you here though. On that same harness as tbw there was the main plug and there was a small 2 wire plug (black and white wire) what is that plug for? It's under the speedo cluster nothing attached.
That plug is for heated grips. I did away with that as well as the green connector.

Yup, those are for heated grips. I also did away with them too. Saves alot of room where the bars neck down to the grip.
I went to buy new grips today for the new bars and the desk person said do you want to make an appointment for the install? I was like for grips? I don't think so. She said Be very careful of so and so when doing it, it is very fragile and costs 130 bucks to replace. Hoping that "something" is what did fail. If I have to repull the wires again I'm selling the bike as is!
She may have been referring to the front brake light switch. I could see them charging somebody $130.00 to replace that.
Ok gonna have a few cocktails. Maybe tomorrow I'll get the ambition to break everything down again and delete the green plug. I swear they do this on purpose to make people miserable! Weather is in low 30's here so no rush to get out there anyhow.

Thanks everyone
I feel for ya, its a PITA getting it apart when the green plug disconnects...
I'm still riding, 22* this am lol
That's why I did the CVO harness for $100. No more green plug. Glad he got it figured out, tho. Gonna do different bars this winter, I want to go back to 1.5" bars. Those Malo's look nice!
