Thanks for sharing. I've always wanted to take a detour there when we drive up to ABQ, which is 2-3 times a year, but haven't managed it yet. Maybe in Oct when we go up for Ballon Fiesta we will.
Thanks all, I cheated a bit and took a VERY bumpy, sloppy service road for some of them. Probably wasn't supposed to drive down there and almost got stuck in the soft wet sand. Gravel was the size of damn near golf *****! It's pretty cool to see in person but don't know that I would go again. Just never been and was curious to see it. Would have been better with setting sun.
I wish I could have gotten a few pictures like that when we rode down to the Green Banks observatory in WV. But security is a little tight around there. They won't even let outside mechanics do work to their service vehicles... Oh yeah, and no electronic ignition either. Only old diesels allowed passed the public parking lot.

Thinking to go down there tomorrow, which way did you go? Free way? Or back roads? I'm open for suggestions.

Yeah, there wasn't much of anyone out there during the week, much less security.
Yea, rock103, the service road, heres a pic of our bikes directly in front of a sign that says no parking within 50 feet right at the base of one of the dishes. Irider, Mt Baldy at 10,800 is 30 miles away
