Good Morning all. Ok here's some pics. The first pics are of the mount.
So this shows the mount. I made a metal piece on the underside to reinforce the plastic. There's two fork bolts on the side that hold this one on.
This one you can almost see the bolts that hold the plastic chrome piece on. there on the forks. Two T40's I think.
Side view shows the clearance at fairing
This is just the 6" Rigid light.

Very clean installation Steve, where did you mount the off on switch? In addition, I like your choice of music for the vertically impaired.
Thanx in advance,
Paul

Thanks for the info.
My 2 round spots are mounted hanging directly underneath some highway peg mounts. The spots are heavy yet I have not needed to realign them after my first night country ride with them some 10,000 miles ago.
I'm not sure your double bracket mount will hold up given how much leverage that light will have sitting that far forward. Maybe you could rejig to a single bracket, or maybe add a brace back to the torx on the side.
The switch is in the switch pod on the left side. I have (in order) Fog Lights, Heated Grips, Rigid Light.
I wired mine with a relay to the battery and spliced into the hi-beam wire at the headlight without using a switch. I previously had these lights on my old Limited where I wired them the same but with an inline switch as well. After a year of use I didn't use the switch once so I omitted it this time, but since I have the same switches as you have, I think I'll wire the switch inline as well.
Thanks for the link to buy --- one question --- how much vibration do you get with what appears to be a bit of distance from the mounting point to the light?
