This is exactly why I bought the extended warranty, when I bought the bike in 2014. I am not an extended warranty person on anything else I have ever bought. Things break and I figured the stuff on this 2014 would be expensive. I have not had a drop of a problem though but it is a piece of mind thing with me. Great bike and I just took it out today for the first ride of year...its a beautiful thing !

She would probably rack up same miles as me but she's smarter not to ride in 100 plus degrees days. I'm lucky she loves to ride and same time allows me to have some guys only trips.
My pump went out at around 15,000 miles. The dealer was hoping it was a sensor or switch but after a couple weeks of trying this and trying that, they finally decided it was the pump. I've heard the newer pumps have been supposedly redesigned since the 2014 models but I really don't know. What I do know is that I get a bit of pre-ignition or spark-knock that I wasn't getting before, like it isn't cooling like it used to. Dealer is going to put it through the paces on the dyno and see what the computer tells them.
