Left exhaust tips turning white/Right exhaust black

'16 RGU with RC 4.5" Slip-ons (this the only change on the bike). I noticed today that the left exhaust tip (inside) has a whitish coating, while the right side still has the black paint showing. Bike does have EITMS enabled, but doesn't spend much time idling. Most riding is on the highway.

Any ideas? Is this indicating a possible problem with the engine?

You said this is your only mod so no, there isn't anything wrong with your motor. The exhaust is not true dual, it's 2 in to 1 in to 2. Right below your rightside passenger peg is where they join and where your catalytic converter is. You get slightly more exhaust out your right pipe then the left due to it being a straight shot. Give it some time, the mufflers will look the same soon enough.

^^ there is your answer. The left pipe doesn't flow as much as the right. Doubt just the slipons did much if anything. Look at things after you put some miles.
