hey bud, this was a complete set up for the 17, not slip ons. They sounded pretty good on the 17, for the little bit I heard them in front of me
I had other business at the dealer today and I asked the service manager this very thing, the ONLY pipes that are available right now for the Milwaukee 8's are the screaming eagle brand (the parts sales guy told that they have 3 sets available in the back right now). now that dealer may have some kind of test pipes (doubt that) or he rigged up something. the old pipes absolutely do not fit the M8's. the exhaust pipe from the header on the left side is 1-3/4 inches and on the right side its 2-1/4 inches. add to that, there is a cross over pipe into the muffler on the right side. he did say that they are coming, but they are not here yet.

You do know that there's always been crossover pipes, right?
Congrats on the Ride too. Roadies are sure selling well. On my way north to Seattle from Vancouver last week I must have seen 10 or so of them going the opposite way and less than half that many of batwings. I gotta say that the Road Glide has grown on me since the new fairing came out.
OP, I wouldn't worry about the negativity from some of these 'losers' on this board. Often, when someone knows more than they or do something that someone else can't, they get their "panties" in a KNOT...........................
Sounds like BS to me. Fist off, the M8 do shake at idle, just not as much at the TC103. Second, I have a new M8 coming from a 2014 TC 103 SGS with stage one and I can say my new Stock M8 would spank my staged one TC 103 no problem. Seems like the OP is butt hurt about not having a new 107 so he is trying to down play the new bikes. I've owned both...he has not. M8 is a beast out of the box. Just sayin

I'm also coming off a 2015 SGS, stage one that I put 15,000 miles on. I agree with what you have to say. My 2017 SGS, stage 1, has over 2,000 miles. My 2017 is noticeable quicker. Low end, mid range-- doesnt matter. no contest. I just call it the way I see. it. I had no intention of buying a new bike. I was at the dealer get new tires on my 2015 when a salesman asked me if I wanted to test ride a new M8SGS. At first I declined but it was taking longer than anticipated for the tire change, so WTF. I took one out for a 20 mile ride. WOW. I thought there was a big difference. Much smoother. I didnt feel the bumps in the road the way I did with the 2015. It had more grunt up and down the rpm range. It was enough for me to buy a new one. Did I get a good deal? no. but it was a fair one. If I didnt like it I could have walked---- I didnt. I'm happy and that's all that counts.
Man, I just don't get it. I've test rode three (completely stock) M8's here in Denver and they just don't seem any faster then my TC103 stage 1. Maybe at sea level I'd have a different opinion, a test ride is in order next month when in Calif. to see if there is a difference. I love to go fast in whatever, car, boat, motorcycle so if I found that the new bike was lightening fast and still ridable I'd be on it tomorrow. Now saying that I thought that the M8 ride wasn't any better then mine, but my wife corrected me and said it was, shows you what my opinion is worth.
