new battery sweeps clean
Kept seeing "v ===error" on lcd screen. Initial bog down before normal crank speed on cold start. less than 9-10volts, ( 7-8v) measured at trickle charger terminal.
So new battery, problem solved.
So keep an eye out on lcd screen. Save yourself a tow.

Just took the 14 Tri in for it's 15K service; based on this thread, it reminded me to have them do a load test on the battery. No codes yet, but you can tell its on the way out eventually; little inklings that it's going downhill. Thanks! For once I hope they do find something wrong and have to replace it while still under warranty.

my battery lasted for just on 3 years. For the last year was mostly on trickle charger. In texas bike batteries are good for 2-3 years in my own experience Hoping agm's will last longer. Some claim 4-6 years. They are truely the chosen ones.
