Default Saddlebag locking pins
As I was researching rear shock lowering kits, someone mentioned longer than stock z-pins to space out the saddle bags. I cannot find the post where they were mentioned. Can anyone lead me to that post?

I have 4 that are 1/2" longer then stock. Had them on my 2014 FLHXS. If someone wants them, let me know.

With the issue of the bags falling off with the stock fasteners I'm not so sure spacing them out with longer pins is a good idea. I had a shock lowering blocks on an 07 Road King and the bags fit fine in the stock position. I may still have the lowering blocks somewhere. If you want them and I can find them you can have them for the cost of shipping.

Thank you all that replied. Problem solved. Thanks to a member that installed the same kit, it was determined that the LA Choppers directions were incorrect. Spacer at the bottom not the top.

Crap, they still haven't revised the installation directions yet ? Butt heads. Way back in '14 i gave them a heads up to the problem. Obviously they couldn't give a rat's *** about the end user.

You have to wonder how people stay in business. BTW I have been waiting two days for a response after speaking live to a supervisor after the CS group brushed me off.
