Default Street Cannons

I love my Street Cannons and have probably 6k to 8k miles on them, but I just got back from a little 150 miler and they have gotten noticeably LOUDER. Just putt'n along they are just fine...but pull away from a stop, hit a hill or grade on the interstate and they nothing short of FRIGG'N loud...And I'm wearing a full face Shoei.

Like I said, I love'm, but beware...over time they are gonn'a get some db's!

Over time the packing wears out. I would imagine they can be rebuilt.

I have used these mufflers in the past with the tips opposite of what you have in your pic. They were much better sounding imo and not as piercing.

I too have just bought the Street Cannons and was wondering if the baffles are removable to repack. Does anyone know for sure? I wantedto go a bit quitter on my CVO Limited but just a tad too soft and wouldn't mind pulling a bit of packng out.

I think the tone of the exhaust note is just fine, just too many db for the long haul.

Essentially:
tone and pitch= perfect
Volume or db= a bit much

Man, I still love'm though...

They are removable and rebuildable, had them at one time on my 2014 FLHTKSE. The mistake I made was pitting them on there AFTER I had a set of true duals installed.
Let's put it this way, they only stayed on there about 3 days before they were replaced with CFR's. they were ear piercing anytime you gave it any throttle.
Before the true duals were installed they sounded great with the factory headers.
You ought to do cross country, 5800 miles, with CFR's and true duals. Now that was loud. Ended up with bassani DNT. This years cross country trip, 4600 miles, was a whole lot better.
