Congrats on your new ride. Did you buy a different seat, and are the yellow front blinkers new lights? Thanks.
I am considering purchasing a 2017 RK.
I've replaced the saddle with one from my 2010 FLHRC. Also swapped out the rear footboards with the smaller versions. The lamps are stock, but I've added the visor style trim rings. I've also replaced the hard bags with leather - because a Classic isn't offered, I'm converting it piecemeal to the earlier style. Tank badges will get swapped along with saddlebag emblems, fender tips, etc...
This all sounds nutty but prior to the batwings I had a '10 Classic that was the apple of my eye. I loved everything about the look, ergo the reason I'm swapping things out today. I also like the idea of a older design with a new suspension/powertrain.
Thanks for the compliments gang. It won't look custom, but it will look like the bike I love. And that's what we do...
Got the call Friday that it was in and the add ons were completed. Had that old, familiar 'Euphoria' thing going all the way home. Couldn't stand those first 50 miles but now have 300 and the first oil change done. Gonna start unwinding this thing soon and can't wait.
Hope this works.... I wondered how you rode it the other way.

Ride it like you stole it. Its way broken in. Unwind it....
