For you guys who have been waiting for the RG Rickrak mount, it is now available. I ordered mine today, price was $40.
They have also also told me it will mount in either screw hole one the windshield.
I ordered one also and mounted it to the rear hole. I have the same chrome strip and due to it being beveled, the mount did not sit flush. I took it for a test run and it had more vibration than using the Gopro suction cup. You just cant get it tight enough with the uneven surface. So, I took some small flat washers that fit on the chrome strip mounting hole and put enough to build it up above the surface, then put a larger flat washer and then the rubber washer then the Rickrak mount. This ended up being much more solid and it elevated the mount enough to get the "T" **** away from the paint.
I will try and find a spacer the correct size and substitute that for the washers.
I'm assuming you still have the stock handlebars on? What length is that arm your camera is mounted to? How is the camera vibration at idle? Can you see the windshield in the camera view during playback?

Yes still have stock handlebars, using the 3 inch arm I do see the screw on the w/s in the very corner of the picture. At idle it vibrates a lot if my hand is not on the handlebar then not much at all. Like coming to a stop sign or light it is rock solid. I have a Hero 5 black now.
Thanks for the info! I have the Hogtag Collar, and while it works great, I'm limited in what I can film. Been wanting to try something else. I'll try this & see what happens.
Got my Rick Rak mount today for my RGS. I threw it on real quick just to see how I liked it. I'm still adjusting and deciding exactly how I want it mounted. Product is made very well. Much better than most of the cheat GoPro mounts. Here is how it sits right now. Their customer service is top notch by the way!!

Yours looks much nicer than mine with the blue on top. I like the RikRak RG mount. However I had to make one modification. When mounted without the trim strips on the rear hole, the the thumb screw on the bottom is awfully close to the fairing. So, I went to the hardware store and got a stainless 6mmx8mm set screw and replaced the thumb screw with it. Like it much better now.
