2015 Ultra Classic with 25k on the clock. (I fat-fingered "2016" in the title, and I am unable to edit that.) It was bone stock until last week. I bought a take-off header pipe that had been cut in half, catalytic converter removed, and welded back together. Buddy of mine at the dealer had a set of "brandy-gnu" take-off CVO Street Glide mufflers taking up room in their shop, so he gave them to me. Ordered the FP3 and began putting on the new exhaust system.
FP3 finally arrived. At V&H's recommendation, I flashed the bike with a map for V&H Monster Rounds, Power Duals, standard baffle. The weather broke yesterday and I had a chance to take it out for a test ride. I'm very pleased. My seat-of-the-pants dyno indicates that is has more snort than before. Sounds a little better, too. Nothing too loud, but just enough to sound one notch above stock. I haven't had much of a chance to put on any more miles yet. Maybe tomorrow!
While I was out I calibrated my speedometer. The FP3 told me I was 1.5% off of what GPS said my speed was. Also changed the throttle progressivity to "moderate." I noticed a little change, but I think I'll try "aggressive" next time I have it out. It's simple to change it back if I am not fond of that setting.
I'm sure I'll try autotune one o' these days just to see what it does. .
