I have a 2014 FLHXS with V & H Dresser Duals, Monster Rounds and high flow air cleaner. The dealer also installed the SEST and dyno-tuned the bike. The bike runs well, has no decel pop and gets good gas mileage, but it is so-so on power and stock tc88s out accelerate me.
I was thinking of getting an FP3. It seems like I could manage my settings better and not need to be paying $$$ to improve my fuel management.
Any input would be appreciated.
i have one on my 2015 limited.the harley down load is epa compliant and runs on the lean side.i've had mine for 2 years and could'nt be happier.the nice thing about is you use it with your cell phone.i'm also getting 42 mpg with rush tru-duals,v&h monster rounds and the hd ventilator(high flow) air cleaner.

Thanks-
If the dealer did a dyno tune they should have given you a dyno sheet showing peak HP and TQ - what were the numbers?
Dyno numbers were max power = 76.09, max torque 88.84. I know, not very impressive.
I wouldn't get hung up on the numbers. There are too many variables unless you are running on the same dyno in the same conditions as what you are comparing to.
As good as the power vision and fp3 are they are not the same as a dyno with a good tuner. Ignition timing optimization is one area that comes to mind.

I agree. But the key phrase here is "finding a good tuner." A dyno guy can screw things up if he doesn't know his stuff. The other thing is that once you have your bike dynoed, then decide on a different header or muffler or anything, you have to have it dynoed again and hopefully find that right dyno guy again. I use the FP3 and I've changed stuff around a few times and re-tuned. It may or may not be tuned to peak but it for sure is tuned so as not to hurt anything. I swear by the FP3...great product.
