Default Big Bike Parts LED Driving Light Kit

Hello everyone,

I have a 2016 FLHXS and I am hoping I can get a clear answer to my question regarding the need to purchase the following HD parts and if so why.
  • Auxiliary Power Switch Kit - Fairing Mount PN: 71400105
  • LED Fog Lamp Wiring Harness PN: 69201109
I am looking to purchase the following light kit from Big Bike Parts
http://bigbikeparts.com/templates/pr...91-315LGallery[pp_gal]/0/

This kit comes with the wiring, relay and switches. I am trying to understand if I need those HD parts listed above. I am not looking to add a heated seat or grips either.

I just want to make sure that I am not going to cause any electrical issues or even a problem with the CANBUS system if I tap into the accessory power wire.

Thanks for the help!
Don

I'd say that it's an either/or decision.
If you use the HD parts you will still have to splice in the lights or find the appropriate connectors to put on the lights pig tails.
Or use the harness that comes with the lights and follow the instructions as far as the wiring goes.

Default Beware of this seller

I'm probably too late but I just bought a backrest from these guys that was unusable by design. Their response when I tried to return it was that the picture clearly showed the design. Wouldn't buy anything from them. I'd go with Harley or one of the big trustworthy aftermarket vendors who survive by standing behind their products and quality engineering them.
