Seat cover install
Thinking of recovering my seat with a pre made vinyl cover off eBay. Anyone ever done it? Is it easy? Nothing crazy just want black with a diamond stitch pattern. Not looking to have any custom work done or send it out.

I recovered a seat on an old Yamaha I had with a stock cover from the dealer. Reupholstering anything is a bit of an art form. The way I was taught by my mother is to start in the middle on one side with 3 or so staples turn it over, align the cover and do the other side. You're working on the back but need to see the front so you have to flip it over often. A couple or 3 staples at a time is about right because if you mess up then you have to pull them out to do it over.
I know that this doesn't answer the EBaY cover question but I figured a generic upholstery couldn't hurt. I have done many simple projects but mom did amazingly complicated ones.
