I also have a problem regarding installation of auxiliary lights. I purchased part# 71400105 (dash panel kit) for a 2016 Harley Davidson Street Glide Special.
They tell me it is plug and play and the connecting plug for the harness is located under the fairing. I have the front fairing off and also removed the turn signals and cannot find the plug i need to install the wiring harness from the kit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...

The plug is under the space where the buttons get installed. You need to remove that piece of trim. There are a couple screws on either side of the plastic trim.
