So I have tested out the new Boom! Box Infotainment GPS Navigation around town where I know the roads. While I am used to Google Maps and their voice commands, I cant seem to get my Infotainment system to do the same.
Where is the turn by turn audio directions? Where is the notification on what lane to be in? Where is the display on what street to turn on? Are my settings wrong? Please help!
I assume you are setting up a destination and not getting any results?
I am setting up destination and I see the orange road, but I do not have the turn by turn directions and no audio prompts. I have to pay close attention to the orange road and when it breaks off and where the turns are. Its very hard to follow.
Also make sure the volume is turned up for the GPS prompt. It is separate from the audio control. Same joystick.
There is also a check box hidden somewhere in the settings for prompts/no prompts. Without the correct setting, you can increase volume until the cows come home and still get nothing.
This is my 4th year using the 6.5 Boom. I'm just now starting to understand the instructions in the Boom manual! In 2014 I didn't have a clue WTH the manual was trying to tell me. lol...
