boom audio quit working

boom audio quit working
The audio became intermittent at first, either not getting directions one day, or not getting music the next. Sometimes it was the headset, sometimes the speakers. Finally all quit
Reset the boom box. All working normal again.

Mine is doing the same thing. I wish it would die completely so i can take it to the dealer to get replaced. It will quit working for a day at a time but then work again for no good reason.
I don't see a resolution here.
I've actually called the dealership to say it's out for good now and I'm bringing it in. It worked as soon as I started the bike....

Try doing the reset. Can't hurt. Running latest software?

If the re boot doesn't work, I would try having a good dealer, service manager, call HD,. They can sometimes get the work done under warranty, of it's really close, Happened to me for a water pump, fixed under warranty

It's a simple menu option set wrong.
Go to the Media Menu & change the Seek/Preset option from Preset back to Seek.

If it's still under warranty, let the dealer fix or replace it. Mine died about 3 months after the end of my warranty due to vibration issues. I sent it to Iron Cross and had them fix it. Here's a link incase you need to go that route. http://www.ironcrossaudio.com
