I have a 2015 Ultra, 4000 miles....last week I started noticing some floorboard vibration, not a lot but enough to notice. Stock floorboards were replaced with streamliners when new from 1st owner. I bought bike late last fall with 1000 miles so I have ridden it 3000 miles enough to notice the sudden vibrations. Any suggestions??? Already put bike on lift and the checked the usual things, everything tight....
I see in another thread you're asking about changing your motor mounts...could this be related to the OP's vibration in the floorboards?? Did you experience this also?
Yes, I'm getting vibration in 2700-3100 rpm range. I've come to the conclusion it's Motor Mount related. My front motor mounts the snubbers aren't centered, and the rear mounts, especially the right side, has abnormal wear. I have a '13 SG with 12.5k miles, and the OP's bike has alot less miles, but curious nonetheless about his motor mounts since he said he's checked all the normal issues (loose headers and/or exhaust) and everything checks out.
Check these threads (there's pics): (hope it's OK to link to other forums)
The motor mounts Cygnusx51 is referring to was on my 06, this thread is about my 15 Ultra...and yes I have checked motor mounts all seemed very tight...what about wheel balance? HD chrome wheels and chrome fork sliders installed by dealer when new and I'm just now experiencing the slight floorboard vibes???? NY roads are rough could tire balance have changed in so few miles??? I've double checked all exhaust connections going to loosen all and start from front to back as I seen in another thread.... Still open to suggestions, thank you all!!!
Just to clarify this is a 2015 Rushmore....Tekman is referring to pre Rushmore mounts and I already went through all those on my 06 and now new bike is acting up what gives? Bad luck or OCD???
You might be on the right track looking at wheel balancing although if it were the front you would feel that in the handlebars. So maybe have the rear tire checked. If this came on all of a sudden maybe one of the rear wheel weights popped off?

If I'm correct 09 to 16 is same motor mounts. I wasn't talking about how tight the mounts are I was asking about alignment, or as the manual says if the front snubbers are centered.
Yes this came on all of a sudden...just took rear saddle bags off and tightened up every bolt i seen....if anything its worse now....WTF....like i said earlier going to loosen entire exhaust system and retighten...to flipping hot now after 4 test runs.....this is pissing me off...if that dont work guess I'm going to have to start looking at wheels although I think its engine related or exhaust touching somewhere though I cannot see where....comes on around 1700 rpm and stays there in my 3000 plus riding range.....
