Rushmore 6.5 ?
15 sgs.....when I first got my bike i had a galaxy s5 paired to my 6.5 head unit, with that phone i got a audible beep/ring/notification when i received a text message. Original s5 died got another s5 and paired it to my bike and didnt get the audible beep/ring/notification sound any more with text messages only got the little message icon at the bottom of the screen. Dealt with it, couldnt figure it out. Recently got the galaxy s8 plus and still dont get the beep/ring/text notification. With all 3 phones when the phone rings for a call I actually get the ring thru the speakers just not for texts.....any ideas?

My bike replies eithe the message, I AM RIDING. IF THIS IS IMPORTANT CALL.
Makes it simple. It they text. They get that message. If they don't call. It's not important and I don't need to bother with it.
Set up something like that. And the beep don't matter.
