I personally have no experience with either of them but I have a buddy that has the Dirty Air. He and his wife say the ride is great. On the flip side he's has quite a bit of problems. They were on the Interstate when a shock blew out and had to have it towed in. He's had the valve go out while riding and it sat down on the rear fender. On a freezing day here rencently everything froze up and he said it was like riding a hard tail. His gauge is leaking now and he's got to replace that. I had thought about that system myself but with all the problems he's had I think I'm going to go with a good coil over system when I change rear shocks on mine.
Currently longest trip with the kit was an hour one up and it was a smooth ride mostly highway. I ride a lot locally with 2 up and its still has the same ride maybe a little stiffer but the passenger hasn't complained about it.
I ordered the "basic system" last night and decided to call this am, glad I did. The basic comes with the Car Shock modified air shocks, might not be anything wrong with them. But called this am and spoke with D/A and they told me about the Aluminum Shock ) BALLER SHOCKS) upgrade and how much happier I would be. So on the way is the rear air ride system and there upgraded aluminum shocks. Guy on the phone was cool and didn't mind talking.
Well the ride is smoother than the premium shocks, and can be ridden down without getting beat up . I went with the premium aluminum shocks instead of the modified car shocks.
