If all you do is stay close to home on major thoroughfares there is no need.
Some of us go places other than your local low-rent cafeteria or bro-hole.
Some of us actually explore unfamiliar places and unknown roads.
For the stay-at-homes I understand your lack of ambition.

Have not tried any yet. Hoping to get input before getting one. In lieu of forum experience, will probably just try Apple Breadcrumbs Navigation app.
