You should rebuild your brake calipers and flush and change the brake fluid. Side that is worn more probably has a piston getting stuck so pad rubs on rotor when brakes are not applied and wears faster. Check your rotors for excessive wear. Inner piston is farthest from the port so fluid is more stagnate in that side allowing corrosion to build more quickly.
