Wheel bearings?

Wheel bearings?
Given all of the failures I have seen on the forum a while back, Im curious if 2015 models have issues. If so, is it front, rear or both? Im going to need a new front tire, and m wondering if I should get new ones put in when changing out the tire.
Doing a big trip to Sturgis and Yellowstone in August, and dont want to have any issues.

I've got 34,000 miles on mine and I've just installed the fourth set of front wheel bearings. I'm still on the original bearings on the rear wheel. Some have higher mileage on their original front wheel bearings. It's a bit of a crap shoot.

Exactly that, I have 41,000 on my 14 FLHTK on the original bearings. I had a vibration, took it to the dealer to check the wheel bearings. They pulled both wheels, bearings were good. However, the wheels were out of balance so they rebalanced them. Took them over two hours to check everything out. Oh, and at no cost to me.

I’ve got nearly 24,000 on my 2016 RG. I check the bearings when I have the tires replaced. They were checked again about a month ago and they’re still good. It’s really odd that some bearings fail early and some don’t especially since the rider really has no input on bearing wear.

mechanics mantra " don't fix it if its not broken". Now with let's say 40-50k miles I would replace them just for grins during a tire change.

I had to remove mine when I got the wheels powdered but the bike only had 5k miles. The front right bearing had rust on the outer part. I replaced them with All ***** bearings. It's an inexpensive replacement if you have the tools. I think all of the bearings were less than $60.
