Has this company gotten their $hit together with the torque issue ? Nothing sounds like them but I'm not willing to give up performance for sound. Bassani Is comparable to sound but also suffers from the same torque Issue.
I don’t know. But I think my Rinehart slimline duals sounds better than the CFRS my buddy has on his RGS. I will say the Bassani line (maybe road rage?) almost wooed me, but Fit and finish of the Rineharts combined with the sound won me. Sound is such a subjective issue. Good luck buddy.
I had CFR mufflers on my 09 ultra and loved the sound but definitely noticed the loss of low end torque which isnt a good thing on a heavy touring bike when you ride two up 90% of the time like I do. I ended up doing a 96 to 103 with a SE255 cam which did address the problem (and then some).
When I bought my 2018 FLHTK, I went with the Fullsac MX headpipe and VH high output 4.5 mufflers. No loss of torque and while not that CFR hot rod sound I loved, theyre a good compromise.
Anyone know of a video or sound clip of CFR on an M8? Just wondering how different they might sound on the new engine vs the TC.
