Just bought the 2018 Ultra new and love it. Out for a daylight ride yesterday, Biker in group ahead told me my headlight was out with low beam and aux turned on. I pulled over and checked but lights were fine.... today I switched bikes with my son and noticed that the stock headlights and aux do not look lit during daylight.... is this normal or just a bad adjustment? I normally ride with high beams but even that appears to look off from ahead.... any suggestions?
What does "BACKUP" mean in the following sentence from a previous poster? (....backup the bottom adjustment screw couple turns and you will notice the difference...) Does it mean..."back-OUT"???

When we first got our Rushmores I couldn't see my wife when she was a few hundred feet behind. We added CD LED turn/running lights and it was still hard to see. Our fix is to ride with the high beam on and it works great. It's been 3 years and I've never had anyone flash their lights at us or been pulled over so it can't be very annoying.

Probably good idea to remove headlight bezel and there are 2 adjustment screws one for up and down (it's on the bottom of the light) and one on the side for left to right adjustment. Play with the bottom screw backup (unscrew) couple turns and watch headlight moves up find the right setting and button up everything.
When I got my 2015 Limited it was the same thing. One idea I got from the forums was to turn the auxiliary lights upside down. This makes them quite bright but I was never flashed in daylight. At night I just turned them off. 99% of riding in the day anyway.
