Free flowing exhaust does not have to be loud, just look at high performance cars...
Having your bike loud is not any kind of "right"

Come to Europe, in Spain you cannot:

Change the exhaust
Change the lights
Change the handlebar
Change … you cannot change anything!!!

As a sample if you want to legally change the handlebar you must:

The handlebar must be a model certified by the ECE
The installer must be certified and must issue a document certifying the installation
An engineer must do a project of the modification
You must go to an ITV station, a place to examine the bike and authorize and certify the change.

In short, a LOT of money just to change the handlebar!!!

You can not make any modification, of any kind, to the engine, even the Stage I

And we must pass an inspection on the ITV Station every two years, if you have changed anything you cannot circulate with the bike, the fines are very high, even jail in some cases.

Socialism in action!

If you're worried you won't pass a 95 db sound test then yes we are talking about a loud bike.

Rant on brother. The same crap is happening here, just a little slower. Oregon is fast becoming the Nanny State of the country.

Wow dude, you sure are a judgmental old son of a bitch, aren't you. 1st YOU judge ALL loud bikes like you ARE somebody. Who the hell gives a **** what YOU think? I sure as hell don't. 2nd YOU judge a man about how YOU think he should live HIS Christian life. Again, who the hell are you to judge this guy and his religious practices? CHRIST himself? 3rd YOU'RE telling him about HIS rights with HIS life and HIS bike! YOU have nothing to do with ANYBODY'S rights but YOURS! Dude, now I'm gonna judge YOU......... YOU way overestimate YOUR importance value in this world! Let alone getting all up in someones else's business. Stay in YOUR lane man! What Two Lane Tramp, myself, or anyone else in this world, (except those that YOU think you have control of), do in this world is none of your damn business! YOU don't like loud pipes? Too damn bad! I do! And a lot of other people in the big *** world do as well. So, unless you are a CHP and actually have the right to pull me, or Two Lane, or ANYBODY, over for my/our loud pipes, then take this time to reflect a little and pour yourself a big ol' cup of "Shut the hell up!"

Sorry Two Lane....... Didn't mean to derail your thread. I've been shoveling out from this last snow we got for the last 7 hours and might be a little bit testy, lol.

Here we go another bible beater beating me up for calling out the hypocrisy.
LOUD MOTORCYCLES SUCK
This is fun poking at all of you that ruin motorcycling with your obnoxious noise
Noise that you make with your lifestyle extensions is some kind of right.
If your ride is quiet no one is going to bother you. Doh!

Christian folks have regard for their fellow man. I did not beat the christian drum here but some one else did defending their noisy lifestyle extension
Why do i have to explain having regard for others to so called Christian men?

Loud motorcycles suck and every one of you that thinks this is right is so full o crap
Judgemental???
No my words are logical conclusions after wading thru the waist deep cow dung

and please quote the hell out of me so i can enjoy the drivel

Lol..... I'm not beating you up for calling out hypocrisy! I'm beating you up for being a judgment *** and not knowing what you're talking about. Example: You just called me another bible beater, lol! Other than a handful of weddings and funerals, I haven't been in a church since I was 12 in the 70's! Your ego and self assessment of your worth to mankind is off the chart man. You've been a member here for 12-1/2 years with only 86 post and the only posts I ever seen are negative remarks.........I can totally see why no one wants to ride with you, according to your avatar signature. Not going to participant in your argument trolling........... ride safe.

Again..... my apologies Two Lane.......
