I said I would give a follow up so here it is:
Changed out the 10" Klockworks windshield for a 10" Freedom Touring windshield and that seems to be the ticket!!
Went for a 300 hundred mile cruise on both freeway (up to 85 mph) and lots of up and down round and round twisty Hill Country dream roads and none of what I described happened.
I was not pushing that 25 mph headwind I encountered that led to my complaint but the windshield was rock steady and really pushed the side draft out away from my head.
I believe I was getting that buzzingvibe from the Klockworks when the headwind really kicked up. I love the looks of the that shield but the Freedom is just more to my needs.
I'm happy again!
Check your heat shields, i developed something very similar to what you describe and traced it back to a loose hose clamp on the heat shields. Went away after i tightened it back up.
