Might I offer an alternate choice. I have a jump kit that will connect to my motorcycle (or vehicle) and provide such a jump. As you noticed, our battery is under the seat, so, you could put the connection on the starter plus a ground bolt on the bike.
While that works, what I actually did is buy this connector - it attaches to the battery and mine is run up through the seat and comes in where the backrest goes. Its tucked behind so you don't see it.
If needed, I just reach in, pull it up and connect the jump box.
Hopefully this helps you or someone else.
I bought NOCO GBC009 and installed it. Too bad I have to buy NOCO specific battery pack since I've already had a jumper battery pack for my car... but I think it's worth the investment.
You can accomplish that better if you use a battery tender. You take the hard-wire connector from the battery, and plug in the extra alligator clips (that come with the tender) to it. Unplug it and throw in the bag when done. Safer.
IMPORTANT - Just make sure the plug connector sides match, positive-to-positive and negative-to negative. If they don't. slide the red (positive) and black (negative) covers off the alligator clips and switch them so they do.
Battery tender cables are not heavy enough to jump start a bike.

Now that is the ticket right there! I need to look at my jump box and see if it will work.
To me what the OP did is a little dangerous. Then the hassle of removing tape and adding new tape. If that tape falls off it could get exciting.

You think a 150 Amp starter motor might just blow the 15 Amp fuse in the tender cables? They also if have that little section with clips plugged into it makes it reversed with the negative wire, actually the positive. That can do some real damage even before trying to start it.

Definitely a no-go for me, much too risky. Do you really need jump starts that often to warrant that risk? If the answer is yes, why not just carry the correct tools to get access to the battery?

Antigravity sells a MC "tender" style harness that is heavy enough for jumping, and plugs right into their jump boxes.
This is not a place to be cheap!!

ylwf3vr - the cable I shared would/should work with you car booster system. It is an antigravity cable - but, please remember, this is not a tender cable. As noted by Dan89FLSTC, the tender cable is not sufficient to boost your bike.
Remember to have the jump car or bike off while your jumping you bike too. Normally if you let the bike sit with the cables hooked up for awhile it will draw enough power to crank up without having the jump bike running.
