I have two 20S and one 20 Evo and one 10S all non branded and I have one 30k that is HD branded
If you do not mind using the 20s with No stereo sound, then its all good, the 30k does not sync well with the 20s or the 20 evo, but the 20's sync great with each other.
I will likely buy another 30k non HD branded for when my son rides with me on his Ducati, he does not need a HD branded since he does not ride a HD
just use the sena to sync to the bike so you can take phone calls and do that kind of crap. But pair your wife’s headset to yours for communication, don’t go through the bike for pairing intercoms.

We tried the 30k and were not happy with it. Too many bugs and Sena was no help to fix them. Took them back to Cyclegear for a full refund, and got the pair of 20s. On the non stereo issue, does this mean nothing comes out in stereo, even voice from calls, intercom, etc? When connected to the bike of course.
Mono sends one signal, the same signal/music to both speakers and stereo sends one signal to the left and one signal to the right speaker so that the left and right signals are independent, thats how you hear music go from left to right or vice versa
Circa, yes I do actually understand that part, but the way everyone complained, I was not sure if HD had somehow made it so the sound only came out one ear, thus all the complaints. I doubt I would have anything but voice in my headset, so the music could still be out the bikes speakers.
LOL, with my hearing, I prob couldn't tell the difference anyway. Thanks for being the one to finally answer though. I have asked this question about 5 times on here and other threads.
