What kind of Fox cartridge? I’m thinking of doing the rear shocks, too.
My bike is like a hartail, really stiff in the rear at 0 setting and super soft in the front. I’m about 225lbs and was thinking the legend revo-a or RWD piggyback shocks as they’re on sale for 899, so about the same price as the revos.
I have Ohlins shocks they are a 10/10, the fox cartridges while cheap are about a 7/10, worth the price for sure but I’m sure not near as good as Ohlins would be, I’m happy with the upgrade though, I got the heavy duty ones am about 210 and I think they could be stiffer or at least need heavier oil. But I’m picky about suspension setup from decades of racing dirt bikes. I run Ohlins on them too. https://www.cyclegear.com/parts/fox-...E&gclsrc=aw.ds

I also went with Legend front cartridges Buy once, cry once. Pulled forks off easily enough. Just pushed the little lock on horseshoe trim and no need to remove ignition switch.
Now waiting for that stupid 19mm allen to arrive. Twice delayed....arrrggggg. At least I got the wheel nice and clean now. Also dong seals like everyone advises.

be careful when you pull the cap, they are under a lot of pressure.

Did you get the standard length Legend? Please keep us updated on how you like it.
I have the standard length Legends. No more nose dive. Ride is a lil firmer but handles much better. However, even the standard length is abut 3/4" lower.
Yay!! I got my wrench. Thank you Mr Postman. (FINALLY!)
Booo! I borked a seal. In the mile or so I did ride it, It is best described as the difference between that 20yo worn out suspension and brand new, fresh suspension Now to go get another seal and more fork oil, and try again. A better summary of ride difference once I sort this out.
For what its worth: Same factory air shocks in back.
So as to not steal cpd2442's thread, I started a post for reviewing the Legend suspension: Axeo review
I will go with the legends front and rear. I believe in buy once cry once.
I will be making a trip to Harbor Freight for a motorcycle jack, the 19 and long 12mm long allen. My garage got broken into a couple years ago and they stole my jacks and some tools.
thanks for all the replies.
