GPS questions
Unless I want to take specific roads, I just let the box take me the way it calculates the ride. For example - let's say I want to go to my hotel room - Fairfield Inn located at 123 Any Street, Lake Orion, MI. Next stop is Courtyard 456 West St. Chicago, IL. Having lunch along the way at Big Eats, so 678 My Street, Joliet, IL.
What I do is go to my computer - and, in my contacts, I make a contact names Fairfield Inn, Big Eats and Courtyard.
I know I want to take mostly back roads so, I tell my boom box to take the scenic route when I travel (you can always change to fastest). I also avoid dirt roads - and, you can avoid other things.
Now, instead f importing my routes into the boom, all I do is jump on the bike, boot the system (make sure my phone is blue toothed connected - and, update my contacts.
Set to go, well I used voice commands a lot -so, I hit the left button, say, navigation, contacts, Fairfield - and the boom takes me right there by the scenic route. When done, I do the same thing - navigation, contacts, Big Eats - and, away I go.
When I get back home and all done with that trip, I just go back into my contacts, and delete, Fairfield, Big Eats and Courtyard. Nothing is saved on the bike - so, there is noting to delete.
This seems to work well for me. Hope it helps someone
