Does anyone know if there is a hack to connect non-hd bluetooth headphones to the WHIM? on my 2016 RGS I have the WHIM and the HD20s. I want to be able to just pair my Galaxy Buds to the whim for simplicity. I know this is not possible OFFICIALLY. However, there are some smart ***** out there who, like me, are frustrated with the moco about this.
Got any good hacks?
Have you tried pairing your headphones to the bike, via the passenger connection. In other words make the bike think your headphones are the pass bluetooth device.

Not trying to contest anything or imply, simply asking. I ask about other brands because what you are asking for might or might not exist with any brand. I really do not know, thus the question. If another brand does have what you want, then there might be hope. I hope you figure it out, didn't mean to sound off putting, was not my intention.
Brands tried Samsung, Bose, Apple, One Plus, Sound Core, Sony, Beats. and a few others. I have a headphone habit.
Pardon me for the thread revival, some get so tore up about those things,
but in that last couple of years has there been any progress made at all or solutions found to this dilemma? The one being, can you Bluetooth your phone to the latest and greatest HD's with their proprietary Boom GTS and listen to your choice or flavor of wireless headphones and/or ear buds?

I don't know of any and I think it's complete BS. I bought a Shoei Neotec II, with the Sena that was made for it, only to find out I can't have HD audio if I want to listen to music through my bike. Which means I can't use Android Auto for the GPS feature, because if my phone is connected to the bike then I can't use my headset.
Whoever the **** made this this way, I'd love to have some alone time with them. I refuse to buy the stupid *** HD branded Sena.
What can you not do with the headset? I don't listen to music in my headset, but thru bikes speakers, don't want music in my ears, but that's my personal preference. I can retrieve texts, receive and make calls, and hear NAV in my headset. Not sure exactly what you are wanting?

For me, it's the ability to listen to Bose noise cancelling ear buds. I benefit from both the noise cancelling for music and the added hearing protection from the wind and ambient noise.
Right now I can pair with the phone and Garmin to the Bose. With the GTS, I could pair the phone to the GTS then hear the audio from the phone through the Boom, leave the phone in my pocket or listen to audio off the GTS and hear the Nav commands.
Or just do what I've been doing. It works, but someday I might want to add Sirius to the Boom, so there's that.
