Security light flashes while parked

Stupid question, does the security light always flash slowly even while parked for days? I’ve never noticed it doing that before

Yes red light flashes every few seconds. Never stops.

Thanks. I have it parked with three bikes in the garage (different then ever before) and I can see it flash every three seconds

My bike will go into "Storage Mode" if I let it sit for a couple weeks. Not sure how many days it takes. Can't remember. But it does that so the "blink" won't run your battery down I think. As a side note, mine does it even when on the battery tender. I can't disable the security system then without turning the ignition on 1st. Then quickly disabling it before it starts squealing.
