I see this post every year, and since I have almost 77K miles on my 2015 Limited, I will be replacing my clutch discs, flush clutch fluid, new brakes front and rear, and maybe a new set of lifters.
What do you have planned?
Getting a contour front fender an swapping on a different front wheel.
The one I dread is I get an occasional CEL from the throttle sensor...I replaced the sensor an the wire it plugs into an it didn't fix it so now I have to replace the pins in the plug on the bike harness.
That's about it unless I find a deal on something else!
I've bought a set of KST Spearhead bars and new riser bushings. Also have a set of Custom Dynamic Fillerz lights on the way. And lastly is a 606 airbreather with external crankcase vents from DK Customs.
KST Chrome 12" Mayhem Bagger bars with wiring extensions and polyurethane bushings and a set of tear drop mirrors from HD cuz the fairing mirrors are useless with 12" bars. Legends 13" black Revo A rear shocks from parts giant here on the forum. I might replace the Infinity Kappa fairing speakers, aint decided on that yet. No complaints with the Kappas....just have spend on something
The plan was simple. Do Cam chest and oil pump. Pull sidecar put RGU in bike room this winter and clean ,replaces anything needed.. Pulled sidecar, did Cam chest and oil pump. New mufflers and heat shields and AC . All going as planned . Then totaled the bike taking it to gas up and park for the winter,
New plan. New RG Limited 114 on the way. In December haul sidecar to Hannigan in Murray KY for a repaint to match new bike and clean up frame . Towards end of winter take bike down to mount it . Seems I will have a lot more time on my hands this winter.

Don't you just love it when a plan comes together. Hope you weren't hurt when you totaled your bike.
I’m new to newer Harleys. My other bike is a 79’.
I just bought a 2014 Electra Glide Ultra so my winter project is to change fluids and get to know the bike.
I’m in love with my new bike and I hope I can ride it more than 200 miles without worrying about it breaking down. My Shovelhead, while I love that bike too, makes me stay close to home. I thought my Shovelhead was a big bike, until I bought the Electra Glide.
14 RK I am going to do a stage 4, eliminate the compensator, fix the paint on the rear fender extention, get a wrapped front fender and paint it. Flush the brake fluid.
Here in Virginia Beach we don't get a crazy winter season, it gets cold at times but not for months like elsewhere in the country. That said, I'm good with ole man winter until the 1st of the year. After that, he's officially worn out his welcome with me... LOL Santa needs to take winter back home with him, ya know...
So to keep the sanity my buddies and I do a lot of our stuff during the winter too.
I personally am swapping my bars this year. I ordered the new Vindikta HoopTeeze bars in 12" for my Street Glide during their black Friday sale. I've been running the Vindikta Street Glide bars in 14" since the bike was new. No complaints with the bars just looking to get a "T-bar" feel on the bike. I know it's not perfect but I just can't block the infotainment screen. I lead on most of our road trips and I really need the full view of the screen.
I also have a small oil leak that developed about a month ago, from the bottom of the rear rocker box. I'll take care of that as well. Front tire needs to be replaced too, I bought the new tire on black Friday as well. I'll swap that out all at the same time. Complete oil change, head bearing adjustment and anything else I come across while messing around. We'll make a day of it.
just had a 77 shovelhead slip through my fingers last week!! was going to be my winter project!!
now I am working on another deal for a really cheap 2001 softail springer fixer upper!! that I would more than likely flip
