I did a quick 30-minute project today with some leftover gloss black rattle can paint. See photos below. Prepping was quick and easy and It came out pretty good so I thought I would share it. It really brightened up those dingy faded speaker grills on the fairing and backrest of my 2016 Ultra. I imagine the same thing, in a different color, can also be done to provide accent colors if you so choose. Enjoy!.

After a quick prep with plastic sheeting (or garbage bags) and painter's tape, I shot it with the gloss black spray paint.
Re-installed and looking like new! You'll have to take my word on the front grills, they blend into the fairing much better.
