I have been talking to Sierra Electronics about this same thing. They too told me about the Cardo Packtalk. I have seem them on line for just over $400 for two.

Our new bike is home and we hooked up to the wired system, all works well. We did have to turn the vox up a bit to activate the comm. With that, we worry about the wind noise
