Food for thought :> there is a smallplate in it for backpressure.

Hey, I was going to change the air cleaner anyways, so I thought what the hell....

Hey man that looks flawless!! Couple of quick questions:
  1. What did you do about the liquid cooling? Did you delete it?
  2. What other parts did you have to buy?
  3. Any gotchas during the install?
I have a 2016 Ultra and I'm on the fence on buying a whole new bike or do what you did.

Thanks!

I purposely bought a '16 Ultra Classic- air cooled- because I knew I wanted to put a FuelMoto crate engine in it... I didn't have to deal with water cooling.

In addition to the crate engine, I also bought: exhaust system, 58mm throttle body, 5.3g/s injectors, Stage II air cleaner, S&S oil line kit, AIM variable pressure plate, Barnett heavy clutch spring, Muller hydraulic clutch slave cylinder, Twin Power solid engine sprocket, assorted gaskets and fluid, and had it dyno tuned... I already had the PowerVision tuner

I was prepared to swap it out myself. It's not that hard if you follow the service manual and other instructions....

But since I was buying the crate engine from FuelMoto, and wanted Jaime to tune it, along with issues getting performance parts shipped into CA, I just trailered the bike there and had them do the engine install... they're installation, dyno break-in, and dyno tune price was very, very good.... I added the muller slave cylinder and Twin Power solid engine sprocket when I got it home..

I ended up 125HP & 151TQ...

Awesome man and I appreciate all the info!
