Default Passenger Footrest Question

Are there any footboards for the passenger that sit closer to the bike? I have an 18 FLHTK and when having to back up the bike, my legs hit the passenger footboard. I take them off most time however should the need arise for a passenger I then need to find them and put back on. The more probable answer is to suck it up but I thought I would ask anyway.

Thanks

I put SG pegs and mounts on my dressers. Gives me more room.

All the passenger footboards I've seen mount in the same location, however, there are numerous adjustable passenger footboard brackets available... With an adjustable passenger footboard bracket, you may be able to adjust them out of your way until needed...

Here's a sampling from a quick google search...

I've been looking at the Air-Flow collection or the Kahuna Collection style floorboards as they have a different profile. Mine are always folded up before I get on and only go down when my wife needs them. The CVO mount also looks to have a little different mounting position as well.

I put mine on the front fairing storage door. Works real good for me.

I know exactly what you mean. I have the same issue. But it appears it's the mounting bracket that locates them, so no matter which style, they will all be about the same when folded up. I have the Empire chrome ones on now and they hit my calves in the same spots the stock ones did even with a slightly different shape to them.
