Not sure exactly why, but my 22 SG has an old fashioned cable clutch....no slave...It pulls about the same as my prior 12 RK.

The MoCo couldn't figure out how to make the hydraulic clutch work with all the heat so they gave up. Some folks like the cable clutch better anyway. Personal preference I guess. I like the hydraulic because I never have to adjust it and the engagement point never moves. It always has exactly the same 'feel' from the first day on a new clutch pack to the last.

The nice thing about a cable clutch is being able to easily move the engagement point anywhere you want. Saves the MoCo some bank too.

Get the Muller or Rekluse, either one will be a big improvement.

Before or after switching out the slave to the Muller or Rekluse, did you guys ever hear like a "whine" when you let off the throttle? Not so noticeable when everything is hot, but very noticeable when it's cold and still warming up.
