2016 FLHTCU retrofit to a detachable tour pack?
I just purchased a 2016 ultra classic with the factory tour pack. Are there kits to retrofit this with the quick release detachable version? In other words, is there a bracket-kit that will allow me to covert the existing stock tour pack to a detachable tour pack?
Thanks for any insight or help you can provide.

If you haven't done it before, I'd suggest reading that thread, there are a few things that have to be dealt with when removing the tour pack, none of it is hard, but they do have to be dealt with.
Post #27 should cover what all you need and/or have to consider when making it a quick disconnect setup... I just did my '23 RGL, after having it one week... did the same thing using practically the same parts on my '16 RGU several years ago.
The "kits" I guess are still not showing on HD's site, ever since they were pulled down over a year ago, I believe over a possible issue the lighting that was included in them. I never use the kits, instead buying the different components I want rather that stuff I do not want thats in the kit... when they were available. But I do use HD's 4-point dock, tour pack mounting rack, and hidden AM/FM antenna. For lighting (rear turn signals) and tag relocation stuff I use CD's stuff.
Anyways, that get you looking in the right direction.
