I have a 2014 SGS with a HD LiPo Battery that is about 6 months old.
I went to start it and I let up on the start button and then instantly hit it again and lost ALL power to the bike. I pulled the main fuse and let it sit, thinking something had goofed up. Changed key fob battery just to quiet a helper because if it was the key fob, I still would've had flashing signals or a siren from the security system, wouldn't I?
Ended-up having to remove the battery which allowed SOMETHING to reset, I guess? Once I hooked it back up, had power and bike started just fine. So, anyone know what the heck happened?
Was not happy at 9:00 pm at a restaurant in Maggie Valley, NC. 9 hrs. from home!

more importantly, what restaurant and what did you have for dinner? 😉
I was down in Maggie Valley to meet my BIL from Florida (I'm from WV) as we planned to cheer on a friend running the Vintage Motocycle Cannonball Run across America. His bike broke so we spent all afternoon in Wheels through Time Motorcycle Museums shop fixing his bike. Never in a million years would I have ever pictured myself working on a 1935 HD in such a famous place. So much freakin knowledge running around that place. Amazing experience. My bike dying put a damper on an incredible day.
By the way, It was a Mexican Restaurant "Guayabitos". Had Tacos, Rice and Beans.
I think my battery went into a protection mode or something? Still trying to find info on it?
