Default throttle response

Hello,
I would like help and advice. I have FLHXS my22 Euro5 model. I installed a chrome werks slip on exhaust and I am very happy with the sound and would not do any further upgrades. I am very disappointed with the factory and current throttle response. Reading here on the forum mentions the vance and hines THROTTLEPAK product that solves that problem and the motorcycle has better throttle response. Please let me know if there is such a part for my my22 motorcycle since I can't find it on the vance and hines website? Or maybe you have another suggestion to solve my problem. Excuse my english. thank you.

best regards

Pretty sure you mean FUELPAK, it likely did not translate properly.

I don't know about Euro5 stuff, but in the US this model will work on a '22 FLHXS https://www.denniskirk.com/vance-and...rd/2013609.sku

If you want to tune for your mods (recommended) follow the advice above from NorthWestern....

FWIW....

I have no experience with the M8 or the newer ECM that is in your bike..... however....

In the Twin Cams and the older ECM, throttle response is controlled by three tables within the tune... The throttle by wire bikes can change the throttle response by changing these tables in the tune.

I suspect if you want to keep your warranty, you'll need to wait until the warranty is over to change the tune, but then any of the full service tuners like PowerVision or TTS can access those tables and change the throttle blade control.

Not too sure about new bikes but our 2014 FLHXs bikes responded wonderfully to throttle progressivity adjustments made available by V&H FP3.

thanks for the tips. I didn't mean fuelpak, but throttlepak, but unfortunately it is no longer produced, that's how Vance and Hines answered. They suggest me FP4 which has that option. I'm a little optimistic about FP4 because reading here on the forum and beyond, and the HD technician told me that they have problems with it, so I'd rather go for another tuner option. I am specifically interested in these two models, but I can't decide which one. which one do you think is better...thanks guys.

IMHO.... the first one is the better tuner, it's a full service tuner.

If you're going with a PowerVision, I suggest you buy it from FuelMoto.... you will get lifetime support from them, AND from DynoJet....

Call them, tell them what you want to do.... they can sell you the tuner with a MAP for your mods already installed in it... then just flash & ride...!

Or, if you want to have fun; flash, do a basic auto tune, and ride...!

thanks man, I'm still of the opinion that it's better to get a complete tuner with maps,

I still need to find out if it fits the EURO5 21 up model

Hi people,

I sent an inquiry to Dynojet and got a reply from Michael and Bruce that the PV is suitable for 2021 and up Euro5 models. I can't order from FuelMoto because they don't ship internationally but only to the USA. I ordered it from a seller in Europe and it will arrive in two or three days and I would install it myself.
I have a few questions, so please help.

1. How do I save the original folder so that I can load it later
2. Do I need to select my engine configuration (slip ons and high flow filter) as offered by the V&H FP4 or do I need to load one of the maps provided by PV in their menu
3. Where the gas sensitivity is set or throttle response

thanks guys

1. When you flash the ECM with a new tune, it should offer to save the original map. I always do that..
2. You will need to select a tune from the PV menu.
3. Go to the link provided by jake24lt and download the "Throttle Blade Control" download. It will explain how to adjust the throttle sensitivity.
