2026 CVO Heated seat. Mean City will not work on an already heated factory seat (they were my 1st choice by reputation) .Does anyone know of someone who can trim the sides to give me a 1 inch straighter/lower line to the ground ? Thanks
Depending on who you talk to suspension upgrades can be a waste of money. Here’s why, unless your racing your rear tire makes all the contact with the road you will ever need. If the suspension was that bad it wouldn’t pass inspection/QC. Is the suspension set up too soft or too stiff, most riders don’t know the differance because most riders don’t have a reason to push our bikes that hard.
If you and your misses like to enjoy a peaceful ride together a properly adjusted OEM suspension will suit your needs, the same goes for the front suspension. Take two riders, one professional, the other an ordinary rider take two RG’s one ST for the novice rider and the stock RG for the professional rider. The professional rider would leave the other so far behiend it would be embarrasing. For half the money buy a comfy touring for your misses she’ll love you for it.
Why does it have to be about racing or performance? Most people ride on roads, not race tracks, that are complete ****. So potholes and, dips, broken asphalt, etc. are a good reason for a decent suspension that will save your spine. In a lot of cases, stock aint it. What does QC and inspection have to do with ride comfort? Those items only prove the part inspected works as the producer intended. If the intention is mediocrity, it will pass QC
