I just saw this show up in CarPlay, has anyone figured out how to use it yet? I don't see any animation, and can't see how to narrow the view to 200 miles or less. Yes, it's raining in Vegas today.
It is not animated radar (its a CarPlay thing), but the "static" image updates every 10 minutes... just like the SiriusXM's weather overlay on the GTS's Nav if you have it. MyRadar started being a CarPlay app a few months ago, I also didn't notice until about a month ago.
Tap the screen once, or push the joystick in briefly, and you will get some controls down the right side of the screen to zoom in and out with. Once the controls appear on the screen you can touch them or use you hand controls to manipulate them. Seems like it will zoom way in, to street level (block by block) and zoom out nation wide if I remember correct.
Try "OnTheWay". It's animated, and you can zoom in and out. If you pay for the subscription, it will tell you weather too as you are navigating the route. I just use the free version and like it for seeing the weather and what way it's moving.

Im looking for a weather app radar that I can use with my setup and be able to see the radar projected on the GTS screen.
I use InRoute for my trip planning on the Harley. It ties into CarPlay nicely from my iPhone. Is the MyRadar app compatible/usable in CarPlay while using InRoute? Will the radar projection overlay on the InRoute map?
