107ci to 128ci Upgrade
Don't know if this is a place to ask this, admin may move it.
Has anyone installed this kit on their 22 Street Glide and how difficult is it, pros & cons?
Do yourself a favor, get a 124 kit (if you do indeed have a 107) from Fuel Moto with a real cam, and a real programming device. Life is good.
4.250 x 4.375 stroke = 124ci
4.250 x 4.500 stroke = 128ci

Kit works OK, better with a different cam & tuner (I like the TTS250 for these). You can get better results for less $ if you go aftermarket.
If you've never tackled an engine build before, there are a lot of things that can go sideways, maybe spend a few hours watching utube vids.

All models require ECM recalibration with the Pro Street Tuner or dealership installed Screamin Eagle calibration for proper installation. Does not fit California models.
With Harley Stage IV kit you will receive a complex and reliable solution (you will only need to add the mufflers too if you still have stock) but might not have a top result for such investment on an engine upgrade. Should you decide with Fuel Moto kit you can select their 129" for 107 engines and consult with them for the proper select of the cam, headwork, exhaust and every other parts to upgrade. This is more interesting way as you may receive the engine which will be looking pretty stock unless the deeper look done. And the result can be way much better.
ONE BIG PROBLEM TRACTION !! (yes the sooo weak SE, lol)
The 180mm Dunflop will not hold 2nd gear, so be ready for sideways. The softer 200mm Shinko fixes that with the bonus of fixing the rear suspension as absolutely 100% better ride.
Got 3k miles on Dunflop and 6k on the Shinko tires.
Wonder which on stops MUCH better as well....
Professional 9 and 10 sec baggers run these tires, as well.
2nd problem was HEAT"2 tank lift (I did front only) fixed that, in this so pleasant Louisiana weather.
Do it and never look back!
Do your research, as there is a reason HD would not let you chose the torque cam on the Stage IV M8 with a warranty as things tend to break, as in always a weak link somewhere (belt/tranny) and then the rabbit hole never ends.
Have broken more than my share of belts on built 80" Evos (even the Anaconda). 86 FXR that can still spank my heavy 128" RK, lol. As well as shelled 3rd gear on a Stage 2 M8 107" that was a torque monster down low. (Lot's of bad 3rd gears for sure)
Ride Safe AND reliable!
