The newest oil pump, the 8 lobe pump, was introduced in late 2019 and is in all 2020+ models...

You can always ad a newer, fancier cam plate and pump, but for most builds it is NOT a necessity...

All touring bikes got the new pump starting the 3rd week of May 2019. Mine was one of those late-May builds.

Should be a nice running combination. If you’re doing it yourself I would coat the inside of the inner cam bearing with grease. I’ve changed numerous twin cams with no issues, but I read about M8 bearings breaking when removing. So I coated mine and when I was removing it I heard a pop, I stopped, loosened and made sure the tool was in all the way. When it came out it had broken, but the grease kept everything together.
i also changed out my lifter cuffs, if doing it again I would have just kept the stock. My bolts came out with no issues, but some have not had good luck with those lifter cuff bolts.

Having run the DBX4.5’s on a stage III I would consider the 4.0’s instead.
