Question Android Auto

I have been having a problem lately, both, before and after I had my GTS software updated by Harley. If I plug my phone in before I have keyed on or started the bike (2020 SGS) Android Auto will not connect. I have to unplug my phone and plug it back in. I the key is on or the bike is running and then I plug in my phone, Android Auto fires right up. Has anyone else ran into this? How is it fixed? Thank you all!!!

I'm not a tech guy, and don't know anything about Android auto, but I'll take a stab at it....

Plug in the phone after the key is on..?

Told you I wasn't tech savvy....

Have you had any problems with it disconnecting while riding? This also happens. I had 3 to poke the play button to get it playing again. I may try switching the cord later

Mine works even if I plug my phone in before I turn the key on.

Try this - go into your AA setting and make sure your default is Start Android Auto automatically.

I have Android Auto issues with my Toyota Tundra.

I'm more inclined to believe the problem lies with your phone, not Android Auto.
