Just added a tour pack to my 2016 Road Glide Special. It has the full suite of matching LEDs.. I need to wire them up. I already have the stock lighting plus LED bag lights. Will I need to splice/cobble a harness together? I got the tour pack for trips, and want it to be easily removable and not interfere with the lighting I already have.
Im sure this has been done plenty of times. Any help with this?
There are several companies that can supply a plug & play harness for what you are seeking to do...
I have used both Custom Dynamics and Namz, both suggested above, and they both make good stuff....
My strong suggestion is to use a quality plug & play harness, rather than cutting and splicing wires on a CanBus bike like yours. I have read many an electrical nightmare thread that started with cutting & splicing into the CanBus system. Canbus "modules" all talk to each other. It can be rather touchy about some changes made within that system....
